| ON A MISSION TO RAISE AWARENESS AND ACCEPTANCE I am a mother, grandmother, wife and artist. A native Sacramentan on a mission to make a difference by providing a different perspective. A Photographer/Artist at the Kennedy Gallery Art Center - midtown Sacramento. 2 exhibits in 2009: "Freedom to Love" to promote acceptance of same-sex couples and families "Breast Cancer is NOT a Death Sentence" to raise awareness for early detection of breast cancer In 2010 I will exhibit: "Freedom to Love II" "I am NOT Invisible" to promote awareness and acceptance of individuals with disabilities "Embrace Aging" to promote acceptance of aging individuals ________ The Freedom to Love exhibit portrayed happy families with 2 dads or 2 moms, or just couples...it was beautiful! I am a straight woman, but my message is equality for all. The Breast Cancer exhibit portrayed women (including myself) who have gone on to lead happy and beautiful lives since their diagnosis.
